our history, since 2004

 

 

7 years of the UK's official gay Wedding Show.

We are proud to have offered the shows and opened our doors across the UK to over 6800 visitors since its launch it 2004, helping gay couples to arrange their weddings and ceremonies, legal information and Equality Issues and the most important honeymoon.

In November of 2004 the team held the UK's first ever Gay Wedding Show which was a huge success.


2005
saw the show travel around the UK (Belfast, Cardiff, Manchester) with the grand finale in Brighton the day before the Civil Partnership became legal, in front of the worlds press.

2006 saw Brighton and Manchester come alive and show that true demand is still there for a passionate, dedicated and very real National Gay Wedding Show.

2007 exploded into one the most talked about shows in the UK for Civil Partnerships, the Gay Wedding Show still continues to demonstrate the passion that goes behind each and every Civil Partnership and the excitement in a fresh look for wedding shows in the future

 

 

 


2008
Celebrated 5 years of the Gay Wedding Show and on the 21st December 3 years of the Civil Partnership Act. The shows toured around Cardiff, Manchester and finished at Brighton. .

Over the last five years the gang at the Gay Wedding Show have certainly been on a great journey.

2009


6 years on and the shows kick start in London


London
1st March was a great success with some of the best exhibitors around, the launch of our book "Civil Partnership - A guide to the perfect day" the show could not have been any better - We like to thank everyone at the show for supporting us, exhibitors, Andaz Hotel and all the couples that came along to make their day special.

Cardiff
The Cardiff Gay Wedding Show held at the fabulous City Hall proved that 2009 was the year that turned the show into one of the most exciting, vibrant and well attended show's that Wales has ever seen.

Manchester
Manchester Gay Wedding Show claims the North

Sunday the 18th October saw the official gay wedding show top the record books again with over 23% more visitors to the day against last year.

This now establishes Manchester firmly at the heart of the north, with visitors coming from far and wide across the midlands and north.

Brighton
Brighton proved yet again why it was one of the most popular shows around with the largest amount of visitors than ever before and some of the best exhibitors around the UK - all helping same sex couples, their familes and friends


2010

London starts the first of 4 shows in the UK, & years on and the shows are getting stronger in 2010 - find out why

London : Now in our second year the Show was a huge success, reinforcing the UK's only and official gay wedding show family continue to grow – the show received over 30% more visitors than last year and the exhibitors continued to show growth, innovation and creation. The first of our 4 shows already started to show a ongoing trend with over 72% of visitors were women for a second year in a row. Plans are well under way for the 2011 show and more details are to be announced
