Wotton House is a stunning country retreat that offers two historic grotto's, a stunning central temple, fountains and sparkling streams with many idyllic bridges, for those once in a lifetime photographs.

The Manor of Wotton was first documented in 1086, formally known in early Saxon times as Wudu-Tum. During the 17th Century, the owner,a famous botanist, John Evelyn, designed the gardens in an Italianate style adding many more of the features which now compliment the magical beauty of these stunning gardens.

Romance is richly suited to Wotton House, which boasts an outdoor secret walled garden, formally known as The Turtle House, this beautiful setting is licensed for outdoor Civil Partnerships.  In addition we offer our impressive Old Library Suite, with its dramatic vaulted ceiling, makes it the ideal setting for you to start your prefect day.    
For your ideal Drinks Reception, we offer the delightful Orangery Bar which overlooks the magnificent grade II listed gardens and has direct access onto our south facing terrace. For a formal wedding breakfast and Evening Reception, our banqueting suites also encompass stunning views of the gardens and can hold up to 150 seated guests and up to 250 for your evening soirée.
