Cobham - The small town of Cobham is a blend of posh suburbia and the rural picturesque. There are suburban streets but also open fields and country hamlets. Despite its relatively small size, Cobham provides an excellent and diverse shopping experience which reflects the area's dual nature.

Featured Venues

At Pink Weddings we are working closely with a number of venues in introducing the concept of same sex ceremonies, celebration parties and dinners.

The Hilton Hotel, Set in 27 acres of woodland in the beautiful Surrey countryside, the Hilton Cobham is an ideal venue to hold your ceremony and celebration, whether it is for 20 or 250 guests, they have the expertise to make your day special and memorable.

Painshill Park, offer three outside venues that are available for hire. The first of which is the Amphitheatre site – a large area of lawn surrounded by tiered shrubbery with lovely views towards the Gothic Temple where blessings can also be held. The second venue is below the Gothic Temple beside the lake looking towards the Chinese Bridge and Grotto Island, with the Gothic Temple in the background. Both of these venues can take up to 1,000 guests. The third venue, the newest, is in the restored Walled Garden.now with a semi-permanent Marquee, called the Espalier Marquee, which will seat up to 200 people. It is a traditional Marquee, with Hard floors, covered with a dark blue carpet. The Marquee has ivory pleated linings, an oak parquet dance floor, chandeliers and up lighters, and a separate catering tent. The price of hire includes the Walled Garden and Marquee, electricity and toilets, but not tables and chairs which are charged separately.

The Gothic Temple is the perfect setting for your commitment ceremony before moving onto you celebration in the fabulous grounds of Painshill Park.

Gay Scene

Well it would have to be nearby Guildford or maybe a quick half hour train ride into London, but Cobham does not really have a gay scene as such.
