The Dundee Swallow Hotel has built up an excellent reputation for making every event it hosts a special one.

Originally a Scottish mansion house, the hotel is set in its own spacious landscaped grounds and offers you the choice of both traditional elegance and modern facilities. We have a selection of reception rooms and facilities to accommodate both large and small celebrations as well as offering superb accommodation, first class cuisine, fantastic leisure facilities and excellent service.

The oldest part of the hotel, a 19th Century listed building, is home to some wonderful original features including the lovingly carved staircase and inglenook fireplace. Along with more modern reception rooms to choose from; our extensive and well landscaped gardens are great for those memorable photographs. Located adjacent to the Kingsway amongst open countryside, the hotel is easy to find and has ample free car parking available.

Ceremony and Celebrations

At the Dundee Swallow Hotel you will be offered VIP treatment from start to finish. Our expert team will meet and greet you and guide you through your special day.

Your commitment ceremony for up to 80 people can take place in our elegant Garden Restaurant Extension or weather dependant, in our landscaped gardens with the fountain and Old Mansion House as your backdrop. Alternatively we have suites available in the Old Mansion House and Conference Centre to accommodate up to 100 people.

Enjoy your meal overlooking the impressive Italian Garden and Fountain in our conservatory-style Garden Restaurant. Invite up to 120 guests who will enjoy the bright and airy atmosphere. The Original Mansion House can accommodate up to 65 guests for a meal and up to 120 guests for an evening reception.

If you prefer a more modern atmosphere, the purpose-built Conference Centre can accommodate up to 60 guests for a buffet-style meal and up to 120 guests for an evening reception.

Every event is unique and our bespoke service will tend to the usual, and the unusual – from menu planning and wine lists, to seating plans and entertainment.

The hotel has 100 en-suite bedrooms ranging from single rooms to family rooms. We also have three luxury suites in the original mansion house. Complimentary overnight accommodation with breakfast is offered to the happy couple and we are delighted to offer discounted rates for your guests, subject to availability.
